The large-scale sustainability challenges in the post-war and post-65 neighborhoods in the Netherlands provide an opportunity to address multiple issues simultaneously. This requires an integrated approach, supported by various disciplines and backed by an innovative coalition of diverse stakeholders. The renovations associated with the energy transition offer space for new housing (and care) concepts, socioeconomic opportunities for current residents, the use of circular materials, new neighborhood amenities, employment, biodiversity improvement, innovative mobility, and densification through transformation and new construction. This way, we can make a significant contribution to the housing challenge.

Crimson, PosadMaxwan, planB. en Buiting Advies hebben hun krachten gebundeld om als Team Na Oorlogse Wijken (N.O.W.) samen oplossingen te vinden en de wijken van de toekomst te creëren. Wij zijn doeners en nodigen jullie uit om samen met ons aan de slag te gaan!
De grootschalige verduurzamingsopgaven in de wederopbouw- en post-65 wijken in Nederland bieden een unieke kans om meerdere uitdagingen tegelijk aan te pakken. Dit vraagt om een integrale aanpak, ondersteund door verschillende disciplines en gedragen door een innovatieve coalitie van diverse stakeholders. De renovaties die gepaard gaan met de energietransitie bieden ruimte voor nieuwe woon(zorg)concepten, sociaaleconomische kansen voor huidige bewoners, het gebruik van circulaire materialen, nieuwe voorzieningen in de wijk, werkgelegenheid, verbetering van de biodiversiteit, innovatieve mobiliteit en verdichting door transformatie en nieuwbouw. Op deze manier kunnen we een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan de woonopgave.
